⚡ What is a stack?

We may earn a commission if you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you.

A list of AI tools tells you what exists. A stack tells you what to actually use — and in what combination. The difference matters because most people do not need twenty tools; they need four or five that fit together without doing the same job twice. A real estate agent needs one tool to write listings, one to find buyers, one to design flyers, and one to make outreach emails land. A wedding planner needs one tool for timelines, one for design, and one for visual ideas. When two tools in a stack do the same thing, one of them is wasted money.

That is what this page is for. Each stack below is built only from tools listed in our own directory, with the starting price each vendor publishes on its own official site — a November 2026 snapshot, because pricing changes often and you should always check the official site before buying. The four stacks here are starter stacks assembled by the Aitopkit team; they are not presented as any one person's real setup, and no stack on this page is attributed to a named person. Stacks shared by readers are checked by us first and labelled as community stacks when published. If your job is not here yet, share your stack with the form below and it may become the next one.

1. Real estate agent in Dubai

Who it is for: an agent listing apartments and villas, chasing buyers on WhatsApp, and publishing new listings every week. The stack covers writing, prospecting, design and outreach — four jobs, five tools, no overlap.

ToolRole in the stackStarting price*
ChatGPTWrites listing descriptions, replies to buyer messages on WhatsApp, and summarises market news into short briefs$20/month Plus
ClayBuilds targeted buyer and seller lists and enriches contacts with verified detailsFree · from $149/month
Apollo.ioFinds owner and developer contacts and runs outreach sequences to themFree · from $59/month
CanvaProperty flyers, Instagram posts and open-house signage from one template setFree
LavenderCoaches outreach emails so they get replies instead of being ignoredFree · from $29/month

Why it works: the expensive tools do the work that makes money — finding the right people and getting them to reply. The free tools do the work that only needs to look good. Total if you pay for everything: from $257 a month at the starting prices above — but most agents start on the free tiers of Clay, Apollo.io and Lavender and pay for one tool at a time. 2. Wedding planner

Who it is for: a planner juggling timelines, vendors, design ideas and client messages for several weddings at once. The stack covers planning, design, visual ideas and research — five tools, each with one clear job.

ToolRole in the stackStarting price*
CanvaInvitations, mood boards, table cards and signage — one design system for the whole weddingFree
ChatGPTTimelines, vendor emails, speeches and day-of schedules, drafted in minutes$20/month Plus
Leonardo AIDecor concepts and mood-board imagery to show clients before anything is bought$12/month
MidjourneyVenue styling visuals and theme mockups that make a pitch feel real$10/month
PerplexityResearches venues, vendors and trends with cited sources you can actually check$20/month Pro

Why it works: the planner's real job is showing the client what the day will look like before spending anything — Leonardo and Midjourney do that for a few dollars, and Canva turns the approved ideas into everything guests actually see. Total if you pay for everything: from $62 a month at the starting prices above.

3. Small shop owner in Doha

Who it is for: a shop owner who posts on WhatsApp and Instagram, answers customers in Arabic and English, and has no marketing budget. The stack is built to cost almost nothing.

ToolRole in the stackStarting price*
ChatGPTProduct descriptions and customer replies in Arabic and English$20/month Plus
CanvaPosters, WhatsApp flyers and price boards for the shop windowFree
Microsoft DesignerFree social posts and ad creatives when Canva's free tier runs out of ideas$0
RytrCaptions, ad copy and short product blurbs in seconds$7.50/month
DeepSeekFree daily assistant for quick questions, prices and supplier messages$0

Why it works: three of the five tools cost nothing, and the two paid ones are the cheapest in their categories. Total if you pay for everything: from $27.50 a month at the starting prices above — and the whole stack runs free if you skip the two paid tools. 4. Freelance video editor

Who it is for: an editor cutting client videos every week — social clips, ads and short promos. The stack covers the edit itself, effects, AI b-roll, quick clips and client communication.

ToolRole in the stackStarting price*
KinoThe edit itself — timeline, cuts and colour, built for AI-assisted editingFree editor; Pro $25/editor/month
RunwayAI effects, green screen and cleanup on footage that needs fixing$15/month
Kling AIAI b-roll and motion shots when the client has no footage for a scene$10/month Standard
MiniMax HailuoQuick AI clips for social cutdowns and teasersFree trial · from $14.99/month
ChatGPTScripts, captions and client emails between edits$20/month Plus

Why it works: Kino does the cutting, and the three video generators each fill a different gap — effects, b-roll, and fast clips — so no two tools are bought for the same job. Total if you pay for everything: from $84.99 a month at the starting prices above. See also our best AI tools for YouTubers and creators guide.

*Pricing changes often — treat every figure above as a November 2026 snapshot from each vendor's own pricing page and check the official site before buying. Where no price is stated, the vendor publishes none.

How we check a stack

Every stack on this page — ours and yours — goes through the same checks. First, every tool in it must be listed in our directory, with a real website and a working free tier or trial we can verify. Second, the tools must not overlap: if two tools do the same job, we ask which one earns its place and drop the other. Third, the prices must come from the vendor's own pricing page, not from a coupon site or a review that quotes no date. Stacks that fail any of these checks are not published, and stacks that go stale — a tool shuts down, or a price changes — are updated or removed. If you spot a stack that is out of date, tell us.

Share your stack

What does your workday actually run on? Tell us your job, the tools in your stack, and what each one does for you. If it checks out, we will publish it here with your job title — your name is optional, and your email is only used if we need to ask a follow-up question. Every stack is checked by a human before it is published, and stacks are never published automatically.

Sponsored stacks

Some stacks on this page may be sponsored: a company pays to feature a stack that includes its tool. A sponsored stack is always labelled Sponsored, and payment buys placement only — never a verdict, a ranking, or a place in our scores. Editorial stacks are never paid for, and a sponsored stack still has to contain real tools from our directory and pass the same checks as any other stack. If you want your tool featured in a stack, see our advertise page.

Frequently asked questions

What is an AI stack?

An AI stack is the set of AI tools one person actually uses for one job — not a list of everything that exists, but the handful of tools that cover the real work: finding customers, writing, designing, editing, or answering questions. A good stack has no overlap: each tool does one job the others do not.

Are these stacks real?

The four stacks on this page are starter stacks assembled by the Aitopkit team from tools listed in our own directory. They are not presented as any one person's real setup, and no stack here is attributed to a named person. Stacks shared by readers are checked by us before publishing and are labelled as community stacks.

How do I share my stack?

Use the form on this page: tell us your job, the tools in your stack, and what each one does for you. Your name is optional and your email is only used to ask follow-up questions. Every submission is checked by a human before anything is published, and stacks are never published automatically.

How much does a stack cost?

It depends on the job. Every table on this page shows each tool's starting price as listed on its own official site in November 2026, plus a total if you pay for everything. Most stacks start free: use the free tiers first, then pay for one tool at a time only when the free tier runs out. Pricing changes often, so check the official site before buying.

What is a sponsored stack?

A sponsored stack is a stack a company pays to feature on this page. It is always labelled Sponsored, and payment buys placement only — never a verdict, a ranking, or a place in our scores. Editorial stacks are never paid for, and a sponsored stack still has to contain real tools from our directory.

Can I copy a stack exactly?

Yes — that is the point. Start with the free tier of each tool, run one real week of your own work through it, and only pay for the tools that earn their keep. If a tool in a stack does not fit your work, swap it for another tool in the same category on our site.
