Meticulous, an autonomous software testing platform built for the age of AI-generated code, has raised a $15 million Series A led by Chemistry, with participation from Menlo Ventures and a roster of angel investors including Vercel founder Guillermo Rauch, Dropbox co-founder Arash Ferdowsi, and former Adobe CPO Scott Belsky. The announcement was made October 6 and reported widely this past week.

The pitch is simple: code generation has become cheap, but the review loop is now the bottleneck. Meticulous automatically generates and maintains thousands of user flows across large codebases using deterministic browsers, catching changes as small as a single pixel before code ships to production. Engineers, product managers and designers get visibility into the full impact of every change before a pull request merges.

Customer traction is the headline here: Notion, ElevenLabs, Dropbox, Wiz and LaunchDarkly are all named customers. LaunchDarkly's director of engineering credits the platform with letting the team move fast and raise the quality bar at the same time. Even AI coding agents can feed on Meticulous' coverage data to iterate on their own work before human review.

The company, founded by brothers Gabriel Spencer-Harper (CEO) and Quentin Spencer-Harper (CTO, formerly of Palantir), plans to use the funds to expand operations and push toward what it calls "truly exhaustive testing." In an era where AI agents can write code faster than any team can read it, that's a bet worth watching.
